Gypsy Kitchen

The rooftop patio at Gypsy Kitchen is the kind of boujee you can’t help but love. It’s the perfect patio in Buckhead Village for an Instagram-worthy photo op – and don’t even get us started about the cocktails. They’re awesome!

There are two parking garages in Buckhead Village near the intersection of North Fulton drive and Buckhead Avenue. We recommend Eagle Parking because they’ve colored-coded the floors so you can actually remember where you parked your car.

You can get to the restaurant by taking the stairs at the entrance of Shake Shake and walk around the edge of the rooftop patio. If you’re coming through the bottom floor patio, there’s a second staircase across from Le Bilboquet. Either will take you to Gypsy Kitchen.

You can never go wrong sharing tapas. Our favorites here are the brussel sprouts, chicken “lagrimitas”, and garlic shrimp. For cocktails, the Venezuelan Sunbite is killer and made with Santa Teresa rum, habanero, pineapple, lime, and honey. For scotch lovers, we recommend the Mumbler, a scotch with orange & herbal liquor, plus IPA syrup.

Spring Art Stroll at Buckhead Village

Buckhead Village’s Spring Art Stroll was actually supposed to happen on April 24 but it got moved… lucky us! The Earth-day-themed art attractions will be outside Buckhead Village’s open-air dining and shopping center.

Explore the family-friendly entertainment, arts & crafts, tie-dye, and floral installations. There will be live music from the Mad Violinist, plus pet and fashion sketch artists from Buckhead Art & Co. Guests are also invited to browse spring collections from Theory, Canali, Akris, and more!

Saturday’s weather is looking like the high 70s and full sun. That means you might want to have another drink or a snack while you’re checking out the art. If that’s the case, stop by The Regent Cocktail Club or Le Bilboquet – right there in the Buckhead Village.

Frankie Allen Park

If you’re still feeling adventurous after cocktails and the Art Stroll, walk over to Frankie Allen Park and soak up more sun. It’s about a 10 to 15-minute walk down Pharr Road Northeast, which cuts through the Buckhead Village District.

The park itself is a nice little tucked-away park, mostly meant for youth baseball teams. The fields have decent green grass and are swept periodically. Covered seating is scattered around the park, along with four public tennis courts (though if you’ve followed the plan so far and still have the energy to play tennis, just wow).

Check it out, take a lap or two, sit down, and enjoy the sun.
