Hippie Fest – Ohio

Hippie Fest is a grassroots festival where people of all ages gather to celebrate peace, love, and all things groovy! Returning to scenic Hocking Hills, OH August 6 & 7, 2022. Featuring live music, bohemian shopping, vintage hippie car show, interactive drum circle, DIY tie-dye, giant bubble garden, cirque performers, kids activities, delicious food, and so much more. All ages welcome. Kids 10 and under free. It’s groovy baby!

NOTE: Due to crowd size and parking limitations, tickets must be reserved online in advance. Limited tickets remaining. If interested in camping (available five miles from the festival site), a camping pass must be purchased for each attendee IN ADDITION to the general admission ticket. Tickets and camping passes can be reserved at HippieFest.org.

Do you or someone you know own a vintage Volkswagen or hippie bus? We want you to be part of the hippie car show at Hippie Fest! Free to participate. Fun prize categories and trophies for winners. To register, simply fill out the online form at HippieFest.org/Car-Show. May the grooviest ride win!

OFFSITE CAMPING INFO:

PLEASE NOTE: Guest camping is not available at the festival site. The guest camping location is a separate location from the venue where the actual festival takes place. Camping passes do not include admission to the festival. Separate tickets must be purchased for festival admission and for off-site camping.

The guest camping area is located five miles from the site where the actual festival takes place. Camping is available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. A separate camping pass is required for each night and for each person. Tents, trailers, and are RVs welcome. Primitive camping only – there are no water or electric hookups. It is a large group camping area. There are no private campsites. The camping location is not affiliated with Hippie Fest.

We ask that you LEAVE NO TRACE while camping. Please bring your own waste receptacle and take all garbage with you that you create. Please be mindful and respectful of the host who is allowing use of the property.

No personal campfires. Fire in designated area only please.

A separate camping pass must be purchased for each person camping and for each night. Camping passes must be purchased in addition to festival admission tickets. Kids 10 years and younger free. Set-up in designated camping area only. Set-up no earlier than 4pm on Friday August 5, 2022. All campers must be vacated by 2pm on Monday August 8, 2022.

Please print your camping passes and have ready to display upon arrival at the camping site.

Hippie Fest is a rain or shine event. Refunds will not be provided for camping or for festival admission in the event of cancellation, bad weather, or for any other reason.

Can tickets be purchased at the gate?

Tickets are sold in advance to plan for traffic, parking, and safety protocols. Tickets must be purchased online and cannot be purchased at the gate.

Are coolers allowed?

Yes, coolers are permitted. Guests are welcome to bring their own beer. No glass bottles or liquor permitted. An age verification wrisband (available at the front gate for $5) is required for anyone consuming alcohol on site.

Does each person camping need a camping pass?

Guest camping is available five miles from the festival site. Each person camping needs a separate camping pass. Cost to camp is $20 per person per night. A festival ticket is needed in addition to the camping pass for campers to attend the festival. Festival tickets and camping passes can be reserved at HippieFest.org

How do you register for the hippie car show?

Do you or someone you know own a vintage VW bus, Beatle, or similar hippie vehicle? We want you to be part of the hippie car show at Hippie Fest! Free admission and camping for owners of vintage hippie vehicles. To register, simply fill out the online form at HippieFest.org/Car-Show

Is this a pet friendly event?

We ask that you please leave pets at home for this event.

When can guests arrive?

Gates open at noon on Saturday August 6 and Sunday August 7, 2022. Guests will be admitted after gates open.

What are the festival hours?

Festival hours are NOON – 7pm Saturday August 6 & NOON – 7pm Sunday August 7, 2022.

How much are kids tickets?

Kids ages 10 and under are free and do not need tickets. Anyone else needs their own admission ticket.

Are there water or electric hookups for my RV/camper at the off-site camping location?

Camping is available five miles from the festival site. Camping is primitive/group camping. There are no water / electric hookups or separate campsites. Fires in communal fire areas only. Restrooms are standard porta-johns. Charcoal grills are permitted. A separate camping pass is required for each person camping. Camping passes must be purchased in addition to festival tickets.
