Good Vibes on Garfield: A Summertime Arts Marketplace

We’re out back on the patio! Stop by the L1 Retail Store at 319 E Garfield Blvd on Saturday, June 25 from 12 to 7pm to meet the creative community assembled for the first annual Arts + Public Life summertime arts marketplace. 12 businesses are popping up to bring you the finest and freshest products, made primarily by South Side artists and creative entrepreneurs. Proceeds go directly into the pockets of the participating vendors. Discover new brands, treat yourself! DJ Ca$h Era providing vibes for this one-of-a kind shopping experience.

This initiative is part of Arts + Public Life’s creative entrepreneurship programmatic activities, including the L1 Creative Business Accelerator program, launched in 2020 and the retail store housing three South Side-based, small business owners on the Arts Block inside of the historic first “L” station built in 1892 along historic Garfield Boulevard in Washington Park. Good Vibes on Garfield is proudly presented by Arts + Public Life, Proximity, the social enterprise arm of The Silver Room and with generous sponsorship from the Office of the Provost, Diversity & Inclusion.
