2022 Illuminate Art Gala

Daybreak Arts (Formerly Poverty and the Arts) is hosting its inaugural Illuminate Art Gala on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 6-9PM at The Space at 100 Taylor in Germantown. Pivoting from their annual Gold Key Gala that was held every February at the River Center for the last five years including a virtual Gala in February 2021 during the pandemic, their Illuminate Art Gala will reflect the new season and changes their organization has undergone during their rebrand and name change.

Daybreak Arts’ annual fundraising gala is a one-of-a-kind Nashville event that provides a premiere platform for the artists experiencing housing insecurity in their Artist Collective to showcase their work and earn income, as well as help the organization raise much needed funds to provide studio space, art supplies, and more so the artists can keep creating.

Join Daybreak artists, staff, board members, and supporters for an artisanal evening of hors d’oeuvres, craft beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. Win unique silent auction items, listen to live jazz, and view artwork on display for purchase directly supporting artists experiencing housing insecurity in our Collective.

Raising awareness for this event is essential to its success as the annual gala is a chance to feature, support, and celebrate the Daybreak artists. All proceeds from the Illuminate Art Gala will support program expansion, operational funding, and studio maintenance.
