Women, Chaos and X by Artist Maggi Hodge

Women, Chaos and X is a thematic collection of Intuitive paintings by Maggi Hodge explores the relationships shared between women in today’s world, the chaos of that world, and X, a symbol stretching in between the possible and the forbidden.

Hodge examines our politically, emotionally and sexually chaotic world with bold brushstrokes; rich, dynamic color; and raw, unfettered gestures. A powerful grace within each canvas speaks to the compliment of chaos, the beauty of disorder, and the subsequent birth of the latent creativity within.

Mash Gallery presents the opening reception for Maggi Hodge on September 28, 7 PM to 10 PM. On exhibit thru November 2, 2019. Mash Gallery is located at 1325 Palmetto Street, Suite 130, Los Angeles, CA 90013

Mariposa Painting Collection by Terry Hoff

Contemporary abstract artist Terry Hoff introduces “Mariposa” at James Wright Gallery in Los Angeles on September 21, 2019, from 7 PM to 9 PM. Lovingly named after his boyhood street.

“Sometimes the eyes of shadows peek out, but mostly when the work settles its more about celebrating the visual human experience. surfaces, images and shapes are used to bridge between high and low art, with a large dose of latent psychedelia.”

Mariposa by Terry Hoff opens at James Wright Gallery in Los Angeles on September 21. A collector preview begins at 6 PM and doors open to the public at 7 PM thru 9 PM. Thank you to Terry Hoff for the opportunity to share his story with all of you. This is an exhibition not to be missed. James Wright Gallery is located at 818 S SPRING STREET LOS ANGELES, CA 90014
