CNYS BLACK EXPO 2022
The CNYS Black Expo is an annual showcase and exhibition of businesses that support and operate within underserved communities of the Capital Region. Our mission has always been to promote health, wellness, and opportunities for communities of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).
This year will mark the fourth year of the Expo, which was the dream and vision of Tatiana Cunningham. Tatiana saw a need and began to mobilize friends, community leaders, and businesses to make this dream a reality. In just three short years, the Expo, held at the Capital Center, has grown to boast over 25,000 attendees and, 600 vendors since 2018, and topped off with a sold-out scholarship Gala to close the event.
Each year, the Expo features Economic, Health, Education, and Enrichment Programs in our Capital Region. This year’s theme for the Expo will focus on Community Collaboration, Mental Health, and Wellness. An event like this, that targets multiple facets of livability, is just the encouragement we ALL need to keep our community healthy and Safe.
