Experience a German-inspired Christmas Market at Principal Park Nov 30 – Dec 3, 2023.

Enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and flavors of the holidays as you participate in a 750 year old tradition.

Shop regional vendors selling old-world, hand-crafted products from wooden vendor stalls; enjoy lively performances of polka music, traditional dance and choirs in Yuletide Hall; participate in children’s activities; sip Glühwein (warm, mulled wine) and savor European-style Iowa craft beer.

Iowa European Cultural Connection, a 501(c)3, tax-exempt non-profit, produces Christkindlmarket Des Moines. This event is free and open to the public. Dates and times are as follows:

Thursday, November 30: 5pm – 9pm

Friday, December 1: 11am – 9pm

Saturday, December 2: 11am – 9pm

Sunday, December 3: 11am – 5pm
