ART WALK at MDC

Friday June 6, 2025
Updated: Michigan Design Center invites art collectors and enthusiasts, design lovers, and curious creatives to experience Art Walk at MDC on Friday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free, building-wide event brings together fine art and home design through live demonstrations, inspiring presentations, and the work of 15 established and emerging artists showcased throughout MDC’s showrooms and studios.
The day kicks off with a special Keynote Panel: “The Artful Home” from 10 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. in the Mid-America Room (Suite 86). Moderated by watercolorist and Michigan Blue editor MEGAN SWOYER, this thought-provoking conversation explores the evolving role of art in the home. Panelists include celebrated artists TONY ROKO, VALERIA ZOZAYA, BOSWELL, and LAURIE TENNENT, who will share insights into their creative processes and how their work integrates into residential spaces.
Throughout the day, guests can explore artist pop-ups, enjoy one-on-one conversations, and attend engaging demonstrations and showroom presentations, including:
