Detroit’s premier underground art event returns to Tangent Gallery for a night of high-energy culture and local talent. We’re stripping away the traditional “white-cube” gallery pretense and replacing it with a raw, high-density experience that brings together over 75+ local artists for one night only.
Whether you’re here for the art, the music, or the griddle, this is the scene where the underground comes to life.

ABOUT THE SHOW: Originating in Los Angeles in 2009, The Pancakes & Booze Art Show has popped up over 500 times in 40+ cities across North America and Europe. We focus on creating a non-traditional, anything-goes environment for emerging artists to sell their work and for the community to engage with the local scene.

This ticket does NOT guarantee immediate entry. Entry is based on the capacity of the venue when you arrive. Entry is first come first serve, regardless if you’ve bought a ticket online or at the door. It’s a popular event, so arrive early to avoid waiting in line!
The art is on exhibit until Midnight, but the bar typically stays open later. The event has the right to end earlier or extend later depending on the size of the crowd.
