What’s Happening At Superfine NYC?

Thursday 9/14: Golden Hour 5pm-6pm, Grand Opening Gala 6pm-10pm

Superfine lands back in the heart of Manhattan with an opening bash co-presented by ChaShaMa. Enjoy complimentary bubbly, international sax-man and producer LE//ON, local dancers and – most importantly – first dibs on your favorite artwork.

Friday 9/15: 3pm-9pm

From 3-6pm, free access for NYC students and members of all major NYC museums. Starting at 4:30pm, don’t miss the live podcast episode of The Artist Business Plan featuring fair co-founders Alex and James. The Bubblegum Social begins at 6pm when LE//ON returns with DJ Harkness, mesmerizing characters from Dream Caverns traverse the fair, and several Superfine exhibitors breakdown their creative process with live painting demonstrations.

Off-site at 8:30pm, Superfine is hosting the Art Friends Dinner Party: an intimate, conversational dinner between select artists, Superfine staff, lucky Friends with Benefits members, Superfamily passholders, and invited VIP guests.

Saturday 9/16: 12pm-9pm

Local musicians perform throughout the afternoon and starting at 2pm there is an educational panel featuring NYC designers. Off-site from 8:30pm-10pm, Superfine is hosting a SherpaShorts x Superfine Short Film screening free for Friends with Benefits passholders and above!

From 10pm-1am, Superfine Perk Pass ticketholders and above are invited to wind down with the artists and Superfine staff for a free drink and conversation (location TBA).

Sunday 9/17: 12pm-2pm

Enjoy the morning with Art + Mimosas – receive complimentary mimosas as a Perk Pass ticket holder and above. Mimosas available for guests as well on a pay-as-you go basis. Stick around for an educational panel featuring exhibitors from the Superfine Print Art Book Pavilion starting at 2pm. The fair comes to a close with one final surprise! From 4-6pm, Superfine CEO extraordinaire and mixmaster Alex Mitow aka DJ Mouthlove will close out the fair with a DJ set.

Superfine Print is an all-ages friendly bonus to our weekend long celebration of art in its many forms on the fair’s mezzanine level. Superfine Print exhibitors share artists’ books, limited prints + works on paper, zines, monographs, and periodicals – anything focusing on paper-based materials.
