Handmade in Colorado Expo in Downtown Denver

The Handmade in Colorado Expo is the only juried art show in the State that is exclusive to Colorado made visual art and handcrafted products. The Handmade in Colorado Expo is proud to support the creative economy of our state. All merchandise displayed at this show is handmade in Colorado and sold directly by both emerging and experienced artisans. Showcasing some of Colorado’s best fine art and contemporary craft, the event will feature a vast selection of independent designers producing original handcrafted goods from a wide array of mediums including paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, glass, wood, and more. This event is designed for art enthusiasts and locavores, as attendees will only find Colorado made items being displayed while offering the unique opportunity to meet the exhibiting artists. The Handmade in Colorado Expo is conveniently located in Wynkoop Plaza at Union Station a large public space just outside the doors of Denver’s transportation hub featuring vibrant restaurants and retail in the heart of Downtown Denver. The Market is located in the highly visible plaza in front of historic Union Station located at 1701 Wynkoop Street in Downtown Denver. This high traffic and very popular location is in the center of Downtown Denver and attracts an extremely high flow of customer traffic boasting a tremendous amount of visitors resulting in over 6,500 attendees per event date. Union Station is located 1 block from the16th Street Mall which is Denver’s most significant public space – it is one of our city’s most powerful economic engines thanks to its 200 street-level retailers and restaurants, 22,000 residents, and 130,000 employees; and claims international significance as one of the largest pedestrian and transit corridor of its kind in the world.

The Handmade in Colorado Expo is an annual event that is happening on August 25, 26 & 27 in Estes Park; on September 16 & 17 at Union Station in Downtown Denver; on September 30 & October 1 in Glenwood Springs, and on October 6 & 7 in the Vail Village.
