Light refreshments provided. \nExhibit Overview \nEsteemed artist\, Robin Dintiman is featuring her large-scale analog photographs of the Laguna de Santa Rosa in this new art exhibit “Water and Dreams” on display at the Laguna Environmental Center\, January 13 – April 26\, 2024. \nArtist Statement \nThis work is about the very special watershed of the Laguna de Santa Rosa which meanders through our county of Sonoma. The streams flow down in the darkness. The spirit is seen in the light through branching trees. We see ourselves in these waters. We are born in water so we remember our salient memory \nThe work is about love of our natural environment and habitat. It is about the many hands working to restore and preserve this habitat. It is about seeing the dream for the future restored through the waters of the Laguna de Santa Rosa. \nAbout the Artist \nDintiman’s work is characterized by a deep connection to nature. Whether she is working directly with objects found in nature or taking nature as her subject\, Dintiman strives to capture the intimate\, emotional quality of certain natural settings\, suffused as they are with time\, change\, and personal memory. https://www.robindintiman.com/ \nAbout the Gallery \nThe Heron Hall Gallery & Gift Shop exhibits three shows per year of local\, nature-themed art. Sales support the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation and its mission to restore and conserve this Wetland of International Importance.
