DESCRIPTION:The Schenectady JCC  Art Festival and Exhibit will feature a variety of workshops\, vendors\, kid’s activities\, raffles\, music\, food and more.\n\n\nSchenectady JCC to host third annual\n  Art Festival and Exhibit\n \n \nSchenectady\, N.Y. – Returning for its third year\, the Schenectady JCC’s annual Art Festival and Exhibit\n will be held on Sunday\, July 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During this event\, the public is welcome to enjoy\n several outdoor activities at the SJCC’s campus on Balltown Road and participate in activities such as a local\n artists’ exhibit\, workshops and a book sale featuring new and used Jewish and general-themed books.\n \nParticipating artists include Shari Sarachan and Dobert Canvas who will exhibit their paintings; jewelry maker\n Alessandra Payne of Salvage and Shine; pottery maker Rebecca Cigal\, wood sign maker Heather Babcock; and\n many more.\n \nIn addition\, the festival will feature a variety of workshops to take part in\, including a natural art workshop\,\n recycled art workshop\, ceramics class demo\, and Jewish-themed crafts. Several activities geared towards\n children\, such as coloring pages\, sticker decorating and making frames\, will also be available. The event will\n also include a Shalom Israel Exhibit\, live music\, a book sale\, a book reading by a local author\, a photo booth\n and raffles. Summer fare kosher food may be purchased at the event.  \n \nThe event is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York\, the Schenectady County Initiative\n Program (CIP)\, the New York State of Opportunity Council on the Arts and the Arts Center of the Capital Region.
