This prestigious art fair features over 200 juried artists from across the country\, offering a diverse range of original works in painting\, sculpture\, jewelry\, ceramics\, mixed media\, and more. With thousands of visitors expected\, the fair is the perfect place to find unique art pieces for your home\, office\, or collection. \nSet in the heart of Chicago\, between the Art Institute and Lake Michigan\, the Gold Coast Art Fair offers an exciting atmosphere with live music throughout the weekend\, and a variety of food\, wine\, beer\, and sangria at three oases in Grant Park’s Butler Field. The fair also includes Paint and Sip classes\, henna art\, caricatures\, personalized poems\, and interactive art booths for kids. The Kids Art Zone is packed with fun activities\, including face painting\, sand art\, giant bubbles\, and more. \nWith convenient parking at the Millennium Parking Garage and easy access via public transportation\, including loop trains and Michigan Avenue buses\, the fair is accessible for everyone. The event is also wheelchair-friendly\, and leashed dogs are welcome. \nTickets are $15\, with $2 from each sale benefiting WINGS Program\, Inc.\, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing housing\, integrated services\, education\, and advocacy to end domestic violence. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the gate. Tickets are required for admission. Children 12 and under are free. \nAttendees are encouraged to bring gently used wall art to donate to the Chicago Furniture Bank\, a nonprofit providing furnishings and décor to individuals and families transitioning out of shelters into permanent housing. Several artists at this show will also be participating in Amdur Productions’ Purple Ribbon Project. This greatly reduces the time needed for set-up and break down\, ensuring a better day for everyone! \nSpace is limited. Please do not attempt to set up unless you have reserved a spot through this listing. We will have another amazing group of vendors\, artists and musicians lined up for our annual “Art in the Garden”. \n“Art in the Garden” is a unique art festival experience made for the Southern Illinois community to connect\, create & celebrate the arts” and is organized by\, Street Arts\, Monday Art Social\, Project Human X\, and Mandala Gardens. \n\n\n\nOur mission is to bring together the Southern Illinois community for a one-of-a-kind celebration of creative synergy! “Art In the Garden” will feature live art\, music\, and a diverse selection of vendors showcasing & selling their work. \n \n\n\n\nCreative activities will be available where kids can take home what they make! \n\n\n\nThroughout the experience\, live music will be performed by talented local musicians\, and there will be a rhythmic drum circle led by experienced drummers.
