We are working to raise awareness for an individual\, Vy Tran\, as he is in his late stages of kidney failure and is in desperate need of a hero donor.  \nAbout Vy Tran:\nJust before the pandemic hit I was diagnosed with end stage renal disease\, essentially my kidneys stopped working. I’ve been on dialysis for the past 3 years or so and am currently on the transplant list (which can take years to find a donor). It’s been a very rough road till this point and a lot of it has to do with the physical and mental changes that come with all of this. But as of right now\, I am in a good place and I am pushing forward as best I can. \nOn the bright side\, my transplant surgeon says I’m a good candidate for a donor kidney but no amount of surgery will change my personality. \nIn addition to the mission\, we are also giving back to the community and to the artists.As the holidays are closely approaching\, booth space was provided free of charge to the artists allowing them to showcase their work with no overhead. Starting in 2015 and held biannually\, the GBAO is now in its fifth showing and is presented biennially. This exhibition forges an exciting and dynamic association between the LGAA and NUMU\, host of this collaboration. \nSpanning twelve Bay Area counties\, from Sonoma to Monterey\, this juried event draws artists to compete for awards and recognition but also brings exposure to respected jurors\, galleries\, and art collectors from the region. The GBAO embraces artistic excellence\, accepting both two-dimensional and three-dimensional fine art into a premier venue. \nIn every moment of creativity\, there is an option to explore one’s perspective and expression. For this exhibition\, LGAA invites artists to push work past usual boundaries to embrace the movement between potentiality and actuality. The show provides a unique collection of christmas decor\, non-holiday decor\, personal gifts and baked goods for purchase. We do welcome small businesses locally who are franchises such as Mary Kay\, Pampered Chef and Scentsy. We limit this to 1 per brand.  \nSetup is available Friday\, Nov. 17th from 3pm to 7pm and also on Saturday morning beginning at 9am. DESCRIPTION:Leggee Elementary’s 12th Annual Craft Fair held at Huntley High School!\n\n\nWith over 140 crafters and vendors last year\, our event keeps getting bigger and better each year! This is such a great show\, attended by over 1\,400 people last year. There is absolutely something for everyone. All proceeds from this event will benefit Leggee Elementary and its programs and the event is open to the public\, heavily attended by the families of District 158 and the surrounding communities. We are proud to support the Grafton Food Pantry by providing free admission to all guests who make a monetary or non-perishable food donation at the door.
