Connect with interesting people and appreciate and purchase art from the city’s most talented and noteworthy artists from Indy’s largest rooftop venue at Regions Tower. \nWe aim to spotlight local artists while weaving together a vibrant tapestry of communities from downtown Indianapolis and surrounding areas\, using the universal language of art to connect\, inspire\, and bring people together. \nThis year’s featured artist\, Vernon T. Bateman\, brings both powerful talent and an extraordinary story. After enduring 27 years of wrongful conviction\, his work has gained recognition locally and internationally\, reaching audiences as far as Tokyo\, Japan\, where his children’s books are now part of English language curriculum. Despite ongoing legal challenges\, Vernon continues to uplift others through his art\, advocacy\, and unwavering spirit. \nELEVATE also serves as a platform for impact. The event will highlight critical issues such as gun violence and the need for meaningful reform in Indiana’s parole and probation systems. Attendees will experience the debut of an original video and animated piece created by Vernon\, addressing the realities of gun violence in our communities. \nIn addition\, 10% of all art sales will be donated to Riley Hospital for Children\, supporting art therapy care for young victims of violence and trauma across Central Indiana. \nLearn more about the participating artists at elevate-indy.org. \nDress code – Smart Casual
