We’ll have over 90 Vendors\, Food Trucks\, Live Entertainment & Specialty Drinks\n\n\nWe’re back for another Sip & Shop\, this time the theme is the HOLIDAYS and it’s on November 19th\, 2023. \nWe’ll have ~ 90 vendors in all three Venue Halls\, along with food trucks/vendors\, and three live performances (Me ‘N D in the Gatsby Room\, Highland Community Chorus in the Grand Hall from 1-2 pm\, and Amanda Wick in the Main Hall.   \nAnd\, we’ll have some specialty drinks to SIP while you SHOP! \nTo get a better handle on crowd control and safety\, we are charging a $3.00 admission fee online\, or $4 at the door (50% of the proceeds will be donated to a Charity to be determined). \nDue to a large crowd size expected (if it was anything like our Holiday 2022 Sip & Shop)\, strollers and/or wagons will not be allowed inside. \nKids 10 and under are FREE \nNo refunds will be given unless the event is cancelled due to the weather.

DESCRIPTION:PHS Pirate Booster Club’s Annual Fall Craft Show 2023. Join us\, sell your holiday wares and support our student organizations and activities\n\n\n\nPalatine High School Pirate Booster Club is pleased to announce our 2023 Craft Fair. Proceeds from booth fees and raffle fundraiser will benefit student organizations and activities at Palatine High School. \nSET UP TIME:  6:00 AM – 9:00 AM \nEXHIBIT TIME:  9:00 AM – 4:00 PM \nBOOTH LOCATIONS: Booths will be located in the cafeteria and Main & East Gyms. \nBOOTH SPACE: Most booths are 10’ wide and 8’ deep or 12′ wide and 6′ deep. Please note these sizes are approximate and may vary slightly due to building configurations and to accommodate adherence to fire codes. We do our best to hand-place vendors for maximum variety throughout the fair; as well as\, accommodate booth size requests on a first come-first served basis. All such requests must be included in the “Notes” filed upon checkout.  \nRequests for specific booth size/placement cannot be guaranteed and are up to the organizers’ discretion. \nFEES:  \n\nEarly Bird Fee (June 1\, 2023-July 31\, 2023\, 11:59pm) – $75\nRegular Fee (after August 1\, 2023\, 12:00am\, if space allows) – $90\nTables and electricity are available for additional fees\nChairs will be provided at no charge.\nReturned Check Fee – $25\n\nRAFFLES: In addition to the payment of the booth fee\, all vendors will be required to make a donation of one item for the Craft Fair Raffle Table (suggested retail value of at least $15).  \nCRAFTER RAFFLE: Upon receipt of the raffle donation\, crafters will be entered into a raffle for a free booth space at the 2023 PHS Pirate Booster Club Craft Fair at Palatine High School! \nDISPLAY ITEMS: We prefer hand-crafted items. However\, we may accept items that are not handcrafted on a case by case basis. We will only accept a limited number of commercial vendors (i.e.: Tastefully Simple\, Avon\, etc.) and only one vendor from each company will be accepted. We will also limit jewelry and other popular vendor types as space permits to provide the greatest variety for craft fair patrons. Commercial vendors must mark the appropriate box on the application form. \nFOOD VENDORS: Applications for food sales or samples must be accompanied by a certificate of insurance (liability). Vendors that are selling food for this event must contact the Village of Palatine Environmental Health Division at (847) 359-9090 to discuss what you will be selling at the event. They will determine whether a temporary food event permit would be required for this event at that time. Due to COVID considerations\, decisions regarding sampling of food products will be made shortly prior to the event start date. \nPHOTOS/WEBSITE LINKS: Please include a link to your website\, Facebook page\, Etsy shop\, etc.\, in the application. \nCONFIRMATION LETTER: Crafters selected to participate will receive confirmation of acceptance. We will refund the payment/return checks to crafters not selected to participate. No refunds will be issued for crafters who cancel after October 15\, 2023. \nFOOD SERVICE AT FAIR:  Information on food will be sent at a later time.  \nSET UP: The school will be open at 6:00am for check-in. Additional setup\, loading and parking information will be provided at a later time. Limited carts and volunteers will be available to help crafters unload and load their items. You are not guaranteed assistance with loading and unloading your wares. We have limited volunteers and there may be long wait times. Detailed information about unloading\, setup and parking will be communicated the week before the Craft Fair. \nTEAR DOWN:  Vendors are required to keep booths open for business between the exhibit hours of 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.  Please do not start tearing down prior to 3:30 PM.  As a courtesy to all vendors\, please do not bring your vehicle curbside until all of your wares have been packed and you are ready to depart for the day.     \nREGISTRATION: Applications will be accepted until all spaces are filled. The early bird application deadline is July 15\, 2023\, 11:59pm. Booth fees increase July  16\, 2023\, 12:00am. \nWAIVERS: Township School District 211 requires signed waivers for any vendors and any people who are assisting the vendors. Waivers will be sent out in a separate email in September. \nPUBLICITY: Abundant advertising for the fair will be done through print\, social\, electronic and a variety of other avenues. \nCOVID CONSIDERATIONS: Due to the pandemic\, all details are subject to change based on Illinois Department of Health and the D211 School Board. In the event guidelines change and we unable to hold the event as advertised\, vendors will be reimbursed appropriately.
