DESCRIPTION:Annual Kittitas High School Holiday Bazaar Fundraiser\n\n\nSet up will start at 7am and you need to be set up and ready to go by 8:50am. You MUST stay set up until 3pm and all items need to be loaded out by 4pm.  \nWe do try to limit certain vendors at events to one each i.e. Color Street\, Thirty One\, Rodan+Fields\, etc. If we receive more than one registration for this type of business we will accept the first one and refund any others. If you would like to verify prior to registration please reach out to Stefanie at stefanielparker@gmail.com prior to registering.   \nBy signing up to be a vendor you are acknowledging the requirement to donate at least 1 item valued at $10 or more to a raffle basket that the fundraising class will be using for a fundraising item at the event. You are more than welcome to put all your business information in with your item.  \nSpots are for 6ft table spaces. If you need anything larger than a 6ft table please purchase 2 table spots.  \nOnce registration is complete and verified you will receive a confirmation email from Stefanie Parker letting you know that your spot has been secured.  \nIf table spots are sold out please join the waitlist and if anyone drops out or can no longer be a vendor we will start at the top of the waitlist and work our way down.  \nThere are NO REFUNDS given once vendor registration closes. DESCRIPTION:Marist School is now taking Juried Vendor applications for the 2023 Holiday Traditions show.\n\n\nSaturday\, November 11th  from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM \n  \nShowcasing over 240 talented Artists and Crafters\, Marist Holiday Traditions is one of the largest juried Arts and Crafts Shows in the Southeast. Approximately 3500 shoppers attend. Holiday Traditions is held on the campus of Marist School in Atlanta\, Georgia.   \n  \nSHOW REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: \n\nAll applicants must submit a $25.00 non-refundable application fee along with their application form. Please note that that there is an additional service fee of $3.52.\nAll items exhibited for sale at the show must be handcrafted by the exhibitor.\nResale (Buy/Sell) and home sale items are not allowed.\nAll applications will be juried by the Holiday Traditions Jury Committee and decisions are final.  Accepted vendors will be notified via email by July\, 2023. (No rejection letters will be sent.)\n\nIf accepted as a 2023 vendor:  \n\nBooth Fee:  $250.00 for inside; $200.00 for outside\, plus fees.\n\n\nInside booth size is approximately 9’x 9′.  Outside booth size is approximately 7’10”x12’6”.\nOutside booths are beneath a covered arcade.\nBooths may not be sublet or shared. The artist must be present in the booth for the entire show. \nArtists/Crafters must provide their own set-up\, tables\, chairs\, extension cords\, etc.\, appropriate for either a gym floor or an outside\, covered\, cement area.\nDisplays may not exceed 8 feet in height. Tents are not allowed.\nAccess to electricity is limited and cannot be guaranteed.\n\nRaffle Donation: All show vendors MUST donate an item valued at least $25 (for each booth rented) for the show raffle.  The item must be representative of the work sold in your booth. We base our aesthetic vision for all of our art vendor opportunities on the criteria below: \n-ORIGINALITY \nYour work is unique\, creative\, and unquestionably your own. \n-INNOVATION \nYour work must be recent in its creation date and it should avoid over-saturated trends. \n-QUALITY \nYour work must be made of high quality materials\, with techniques to make your work appear durable and market ready. \n-AESTHETIC \nArts Consortium is committed to promoting a wide variety of local artists who are truly committed to their artwork; therefore\, we will do our best to avoid redundancy of vendors providing similar products.  Arts Consortium also intends to feature art with aesthetic value that helps create positive interactions between vendors and visitors  (ideally with family-friendly content). \n-VALUE \nThe average price of your items provides a balance of quality and accessibility for our attendees. \nIf the event management deems that your work is either contrary to our event criteria or violates Arts Consortium’s family-friendly event limitations\, you may be encouraged to show appropriate work or even disallowed from participating in our event\, if no agreement can be reached. \n-BODY OF WORK \nIf you do not have enough work to take up more than one 3’x6′ folding table\, we recommend that you consider teaming up with another artist so that your booth does not appear sparse in comparison to others nearby.  \n \nD. REGISTRATION BENEFITS:\nRegistration (before 11:59 PM on Sunday\, October 8th\, 2023) guarantees you the following: \n1 – We will set-up a 10’x10′ pop-up canopy for you to display your art under.  We will also break it down after the event\, for your convenience.  \n2 – Mention in our 2023 Taste The Arts Art Booth Directory \n3 – Booth sitters on event day for a 5-10 minute restroom break (as needed) \n4 – NO SALES/COMMISSION FEES ON THE EVENT DAY \n5 – Membership Meeting marketing and Taste The Arts debriefing will take place on:  Tuesday\, August 8th and Tuesday\, September 12th at 5:30 PM location to be announced.  \n\nE. TERMS AND CONDITIONS:\nPlease carefully review our refund policy in the “asterisk(*) notes” section below before you submit this registration.** \nUpon registration\, you agree to be subject to our refund policy and the following terms: \n– You must meet the marketing deadline mentioned in the “Two Important Deadlines” section above\, in order to receive all of the marketing benefits. \n– If you cannot attend this event after you have registered\, you are welcome to transfer your registration to  another artist who must agree to all of the same terms and conditions stated herein (PLEASE CONTACT US TO COMPLETE A TRANSFER  OF YOUR TASTE THE ARTS REGISTRATION).  \n– You agree to display only the original work of a physical\, digital\, or performance based nature (that you submitted for this jurying process) on the event day.      \n– You agree to take on all financial responsibilities for your art sales during Taste The Arts (we will not make any change).  After paying your registration fee\, you will NOT owe the Arts Consortium any sales percentage (which also means that you keep all of your sales earnings). \n \n ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT:\n– A 10’x10′ popup tent will already be installed for you and labeled with your name and booth number.  The Arts Consortium may place your tent away from the exact space that you reserved online\, if management deems it necessary.  You agree not to move or remove your designated tent.  You may help staff and volunteers with the breakdown of your tent after 5:00 PM if you so desire. \n– You may set up your art as early as 7:00 AM on 10/14/23\, and may NOT break down your art until AFTER 5:00 PM on 10/14/23.   \n– Artists observed departing early (before 5:00 PM) from Taste The Arts 2023 may be denied art booth registration for future Taste The Arts festivals. \n– YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN TABLES\, CHAIRS\, AND ART DISPLAYS \n \nACCIDENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY \nYOU HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING IN ANY/ALL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH ARTS CONSORTIUM’S TASTE THE ARTS 2023 ART FESTIVAL. The Arts Consortium is an organization of high moral and ethical standards. The activities or behavior described below are considered to be inappropriate in view of those moral and ethical standards and are therefore strictly prohibited. Any participant or board member\, committee\, staff\, volunteer\, participating artist\, or member who violates this Code is subject to sanctions\, including removal from the program. \nNo volunteer or employee shall: \na. Use abusive language or show discourtesy or rudeness to staff\, volunteers\, or other participants. \nb. Use or possess illegal drugs during the ARTS CONSORTIUM programs or attend programs while intoxicated. \nc. Show any type of harassment\, including verbal\, physical\, or visual harassment toward staff\, volunteers\, or other participants. \nd. Show actual or threatened violence toward any individual or group. \ne. Conduct themselves in a manner that endangers the life\, safety\, health\, or well-being of others. \nf. Bully or take unfair advantage of any participants. \ng. Fail to cooperate with any board member\, staff member\, committee leader\, or other official of the organization. \nh. Fail to respect the cultures\, beliefs\, opinions\, and decision of others. \ni. Fail to treat others with courtesy\, sensitivity\, tact\, and consideration. \nj. Disclose or use any confidential ARTS CONSORTIUM information that is available solely as a result of the volunteer’s or employee’s affiliation with the ARTS CONSORTIUM to any person not authorized to receive such information or use to the disadvantage of the ARTS CONSORTIUM any such confidential information\, without the expressed authorization of THE ARTS CONSORTIUM. \nn. Knowingly take any action or make any statement intended to influence the conduct of the ARTS CONSORTIUM in such a way as to confer any financial benefit on any person\, corporation\, or entity in which the individual has a significant interest or affiliation. \no. Operate or act in any manner that is contrary to the best interests of the ARTS CONSORTIUM. \np. Operate or act in a manner that creates a conflict with the interests of the ARTS CONSORTIUM and any organization in which the individual has a personal\, business\, or financial interest. The individual shall disclose such conflict of interest to the ARTS CONSORTIUM President of the governing board\, the Executive Director\, or the Board Treasurer\, as applicable\, upon becoming aware of the conflict of interest. Where required\, the individual shall absent him or herself during deliberations\, and shall refrain from participating in any decisions or voting in connection with the matter. \nYou have read and understand the Arts Consortium Standards of Conduct. You agree to abide by the rules described above and understand that you may be removed as a member or other participant if you violate any of the above stated rules. \n \nARTS CONSORTIUM MEDIA RELEASE\nYou understand while participating in this activity\, you may be photographed.  You agree to allow your photo\, video\, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the activity holders\, producers\, sponsors\, organizers\, and assigns. \nYou hereby grant permission to Visalia Arts Consortium\, Inc.\,hereinafter known as the “Media” to use your image (photographs and/or video) for use in Media publications. \nYou hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photographs or electronic matter that may be used in conjunction with them now or in the future\, whether that use is known to you or unknown\, and you waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the image. \nYou fully understand the contents\, meaning and impact of this release. You understand that you are free to address any specific questions regarding this release by submitting those questions in writing prior to registering\, and you agree that your failure to do so will be interpreted as a free and knowledgeable acceptance of the terms of this release. \n \nF. REFUND POLICY\nPartial refunds (minus Eventbrite fees) will be available if the Arts Consortium has to cancel Taste The Arts 2023 due to unforeseen circumstances.  \nCancellations made 60 days or more in advance of the event date\, will receive a partial refund (minus Eventbrite fees). Cancellations made within 60 days will incur a 30% fee (plus Eventbrite fees).
