The Good Trade Makers Market is a true celebration of tradespeople. We’ll be bringing nearly 100 of the country’s greatest independent makers and manufacturers under one roof for a weekend of shopping at the beautiful WaterFire Arts Center on November 19th & 20th, 2022.
Join us for a drink and meet innovators, designers, and makers who have been meticulously honing their crafts. By tackling your holiday shopping at The Good Trade Makers Market, you’ll be supporting independent businesses from fifteen states!
With your entry you will receive a drink ticket that can be redeemed on-site for a single small beer or cocktail pour, an iced tea or coffee, or even a small ice cream from one of our sponsors! Our beverage sponsors for this event include Trinity Brewhouse, Proclamation Ale, The Industrious Spirits Company, Granny Squibb’s Iced Tea, and New Harvest Coffee Roasters, and Gather Farm will be sampling their new ice cream.
EVENT FAQs
TICKETS:
All General Admission ticket holders will receive a drink ticket that can be redeemed on-site for a single small beer or cocktail pour, or a non-alcoholic drink or coffee from one of our sponsors!
Tickets to this event are non-refundable, but you can transfer them to a friend if you are unable to attend. Log into your Eventbrite account do to this, or simply forward your tickets to another person via email. Screenshots work, too – so long as we can see the QR code at check-in.
SHOPPING:
Vendors will have a large selection of unique goods at varying price points. Most vendors take cash, cards, and cash apps, but there is no ATM on site. We recommend bringing your reusable tote bag!
ACCESSIBILITY:
The WaterFire Arts Center and this event are accessible to those with mobility aids, though the event does get busy. If you use a mobility aid, please look for our security guard outside so that he can direct you to enter the venue and wait in a reserved seating area.
WEATHER:
This event is held indoors and will take place rain or shine. There may be a short wait to get in, which we will work through quickly, but plan to be outside for a bit and dress accordingly just in case!
OMG, A BOOK SWAP!:
Bring your pre-loved books to the Good Trade Makers Market and swap them out with our pre-loved books! Our book swap is free, open to all, and is located right behind the check-in desk. Please, no bibles, encyclopedias, or text books.
DRINKING:
Bring your ID if you plan on having delicious cocktails and beer at our bar! Coffee and non-alcoholic beverages will be available, too. We recommend bringing your reusable water bottle, as the venue has several water bottle filling stations.
PETS:
We love our rescue pugs, but this event is not pet friendly. Please leave your pets at home. This includes pets in carriers, strollers, and bags.
KIDS:
Children under 4 are welcome to attend at no cost, but anyone 4 years old and older requires a ticket for entry. Strollers are welcome, but please be careful of our vendors and other attendees, as this event does get busy. Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
PARKING:
Parking is free and plentiful in the WaterFire Arts Center on-site parking lot. There are many handicap parking spots available.

Our events are documented by professional photographers and videographers, as well as local media and members of the press. By attending The Good Trade Makers Market, you are entering an area where filming and photography occur. By attending this event, you understand that you may be photographed, filmed, or videotaped and you hereby give Good Trade Makers Market/Ampersand Creative Co LLC the unqualified right to take pictures and/or recordings of you and grant the perpetual right to use your likeness, image photo (collectively, “image”), without compensation, for broadcast or exhibition in any medium and to put the finished pictures/recordings to any legitimate use without limitation or reservation. You hereby waive, release and forever discharge Good Trade Makers Market/Ampersand Creative Co LLC from and against any and all claims or actions arising out of or resulting from any use of your image.
COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOL:
Good Trade Makers Market reserves the right to implement a mask requirement for staff, vendors, and guests to wear masks at the November 2022 event. We will make the determination as the date approaches. By purchasing your ticket, you acknowledge that you have read and will adhere to these guidelines. In the event that a mask requirement is in place, we will not allow entry to anyone without a mask on, including children age 4 and over.
In the event that Good Trade Makers Market needs to be rescheduled due to COVID-19 or another reason, tickets will not be refunded and will be valid for a rescheduled date in the future.
