The Encompassing Center’s West Side Youth Arts Showcase

We want to Celebrate the Youth on the West Side of Chicago!
Winners in each category will receive Visa Gift Cards or Amazon Gift Cards. Participation prizes will also be awarded for entering!
Please read below for more details on the showcase and entering:
Art Showcase Criteria:
- Participants must be 6-18 years old
- Participants must submit original artwork on paper or canvas
- Participants must live in East/West Garfield park, North Lawndale, or The Near West Side in Chicago Illinois
No art supplies, No problem! Feel free to stop by The Encompassing Center (3019 West Harrison Street Chicago IL 60630) on the dates below. We will have paint, paper, canvases and any other art supplies you need! Therapists will also be on sight to help brainstorm and answer questions.

Categories for Art:
- Create an artwork about your mental health. Tell us more about your struggles and triumphs.
- Create an artwork about your neighborhood. What is it like to be you and live in Chicago.
How to Submit Artwork: Please bring all original artwork to The Encompassing Center anytime Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm You will be asked to include your name, phone number, address, and email address upon submission.
Submissions Accepted June 27th- July 20th.
Artwork will be displayed on Tuesday July 28th at The Encompassing Center from 4-6pm. Come for refreshments, prizes, music, and more! We will display all the artworks and have a panel of community judges.
