Pine LakeFest is two days of handmade art and crafts, music, great food and family-friendly fun on the shores of beautiful Pine Lake, Georgia. Now in its 19th year, this highly interactive festival showcases handmade art and crafts by 45 local and regional artist vendors and live music in a variety of styles.
Activities include chalk drawing and sandcastle contests on the beach with prizes, street performers, a games gazebo and a pet show and parade. Highlights of the weekend will include special guests,“The Seed and Feed Marching Abominables,” and “Floatzilla,” a floating parade with wildly decorated watercraft. The music stage will have a full schedule of bands and performers both days.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 6. Admission and parking are free. Pine Lake is located 12 miles east of Atlanta, between Decatur and Stone Mountain, off Rockbridge Road on Lakeshore Drive, Pine Lake, GA 30072. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Pine LakeFest is a family-friendly event, with activities for all ages. The live music is in a variety of styles. There are contests on the beach with prizes as well as a family games gazebo and baby-changing station.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is free. Park at the entrance to the city on Rockbridge Road and take a free shuttle to the lakefront.
There is handicap parking at the Lake. Special accommodations for buses if you call ahead to arrange.
