2023 Illuminate Art Gala

Daybreak Arts is hosting its Illuminate Art Gala on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 6-9PM at Riverside Revival. Daybreak Arts’ annual fundraising gala is a one-of-a-kind Nashville event that provides a premiere platform for the artists experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in their Artist Collective to showcase their work and earn income, as well as help the organization raise much needed funds to provide studio space, art supplies, and more so the artists can keep creating.

Join Daybreak artists, staff, board members, and supporters for an artisanal evening of delicious hors d’oeuvres and dessert by Town and Table Catering and craft beer, wine, and specialty cocktails sponsored by Lipman Brothers. Win unique silent auction items, listen to live jazz, and view artwork on display and for purchase directly supporting artists experiencing housing insecurity in our Collective. General Admission and Early Bird ticket-holders will be able to enjoy the event from 6-9pm, while VIP ticket-holders will receive a special VIP preview hour from 5-6pm with an Artist Meet and Greet, an open bar throughout the night (two drink tickets for GA), and VIP silent auction items in addition to the regular GA auction items. Virtual ticket-holders will be able to access our online silent auction, as well as view the exhibiting artwork during the event.

Our gala supporters and attendees are essential partners in our mission to help artists impacted by homelessness leverage their creative talent to earn income and create their own sustainable solutions. At last year’s gala in March 2022, over 200 people attended our in-person gala event which raised over $32,000, sold over $10,000 of original artwork, and distributed over $6,000 to 14 artists impacted by homelessness in Nashville, TN.

With your help, we hope to raise over $40,000 to support Daybreak artists in the coming year as we seek to grow our Artist Collective, improve access to entrepreneurship and education courses, and expand earned income opportunities for artists impacted by homelessness in Nashville. Raising awareness for this event is essential to its success as the annual gala is a chance to feature, support, and celebrate the Daybreak artists.
